inspiration for soundtrack
even thought the soundtrack is very long there the way the music / soundtrack builds up at key essential areas of the scene in our opening sequence we could use a soundtrack like this because it builds tension and creates a sense of mystery the soundtrack almost mimics someone running
what i particularly like about it is that it is not just one tempo the soundtrack is creative as it fits to the chase scene it was used in
this is the chase scene the soundtrack was used in as you can see and hear it fits in with what is going on and it does not confuse the audience
In this soundtrack there is a range of dynamics and the music picks up at different points dynamic drum beats helps create tension when needed in the scene below you can see where it picks up and the effect that it creates
The beginning of the soundtrack is neutral not much change in sound until the action takes place at 0:19; the music then begins to pick up and you hear the drum beats which add the effect that something is kicking off at 0:23 the music goes static again whilst Bourne is checking his surroundings at 0:40 when he begins to take off the music then becomes heavier and more dynamic as he begins to escape . When creating my soundtrack I could use dynamic drumbeats and add more layers to the melody to help create tension or to show that something is about to kick off ; as demonstrated in this film extract of The Bourne Identity
